Public meeting set for Deakin Isle Bridge Project, Town of LaGrange
The Town of LaGrange will host a public involvement meeting to discuss the Lauderdale Drive Bridge over Green Lake, also known as the Deakin Isle bridge, project in Walworth County.
The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 29, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the LaGrange Town Hall, N7899 Co Rd H, Whitewater, WI. The meeting will follow an open house format. A brief presentation will be made at 6:00 PM.
The Deakin Isle bridge is a three span, 12-foot wide structure, built in 1915. The purpose of the meeting is to gather input for development of the proposed improvements. Construction is scheduled for 2022.
The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, provide input and ask questions concerning this project. The Town’s engineering representatives will be available to discuss the project on an individual basis.
The meeting facility is wheelchair accessible.
